PASMA

Founded in 1974, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association (PASMA), is the recognised focus and authority for mobile access towers. PASMA advances safety, standards and best practice across a wide range of sectors and represents the interests of its members in the UK, South Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East.

Whatever the need, the association has tower information, facts and expertise to impart at a level to suit everyone - from first time users to major contractors. Independent and self-financing, PASMA shapes and supports the future of the industry through the knowledgeable and enthusiastic involvement of its members. Suppliers, specifiers and users.

Working in collaboration with other trade and professional bodies, industry regulators and key decision makers, PASMA fulfils a number of distinct roles.

"The association is committed to delivering world-class support to all corners of the industry," says Peter Bennett, PASMA's managing director. "Providing practical skills and knowledge are central to meeting this objective."

Join a training program that teaches you how to safely assemble, dismantle, move, and modify mobile access towers without putting yourself or others in danger. This course includes the latest techniques for fall protection and tower inspection, ensuring that the tower is safe once assembled.

All participants will receive a comprehensive course content and notes booklet, as well as a current Code of Practice booklet that can be used as a reference both during and after the course.

The training program will cover various topics, including an introduction to mobile access towers, current regulations and standards, the components of the tower, potential hazards that could arise, the proper assembly of the tower, ensuring stability and safety while using the tower, repositioning the tower, conducting thorough inspections, and regular care and maintenance. Additionally, you'll learn how to dismantle the tower safely once the work is complete.

This course is suitable for individuals who are responsible for assembling, dismantling, modifying, moving, and inspecting mobile access towers that use either the 3T or Advance Guardrail (AGR) systems. It's an essential course that will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure that your work environment is safe and secure.
